Saxophonist Nikola Bankov

Join us to welcome award-winning alto saxophonist Nikola Bankov. The 24 year old winner of prestigious Danish Music Awards and is listed in the magazine Forbes' "30 under 30" as one of the 30 most successful people under the age of 30 in Slovakia.

In his music, he experiments with a range of effects applied to the sound of the saxophone, adding a new set of colors to the music. His latest album “Dream Chaser” features legendary Randy Brecker.

His critically acclaimed debut album ‘Bright Future’ merges inspiring and catchy melodies with a refreshingly original sound. The album features world-renowned tenor saxophonist Seamus Blake (USA) and received an award for The Best Jazz Album Of The Year in Slovakia.
