Linda Graedel, born in 1941 in San Francisco, gained early recognition in art, leading her to pursue artistic development. She studied at the Art Center School in Los Angeles and further refined her skills in Vienna, Paris, and Zurich. In 1962, she followed her future husband, André Graedel, to Switzerland. Linda documented significant trials as a courtroom artist for Swiss media, including the "Hallenbad-Unglück" and the "Swissair trial." Her diverse artistic career included illustrating surgeries, capturing jazz legends, and, during the COVID-19 pandemic, exploring plant forms. In 2022, her two-volume art piece, "The lines of my life," was published, showcasing her enduring talent. In 2023, she received an honorary doctorate from the University of Zurich for her life's work.
