Dear Rotaractors, friends and guests,
We are pleased to already now send you a save the date for one of our highlight events for this year!
As most of you are aware, the Tonhalle Zürich at the lake is currently undergoing a large renovation until 2020.
In order to still enjoy great concerts during the time of renovation, they have built a provisional concert hall in the vibrant, young Kreis 5 – the Tonhalle Maag.
We will have the pleasure to have a guided tour in the Tonhalle Maag and see the story behind this project and how they managed to build this provisional concert hall.
The tour will take place on Friday, 17th May, at 20h. It is limited to 30 participants and costs CHF 5 per person. Please bring the 5 CHF in cash on the day of the event.
After that, we also have the opportunity to see a concert at the place. It is a special concert dedicated to young people, part of the so-called TonhalleLATE series.
The concert starts at 22h with approximately 1h of “normal” classical music, but then the whole venue will turn into a dance floor with DJs.

Truls Mørk - Violoncello
Ludwig van Beethoven Ouvertüre "Leonore" Nr. 2 C-Dur [op. 72]
Henri Dutilleux "Tout un monde lointain" Cellokonzert
The tickets for this concert plus party afterwards is CHF 20 for people below 30 years old and CHF 55 for people aged above 30 years.
Please note that should you be interested to join this concert, you will be responsible for purchasing the ticket on your own before the event day (the seats are non-numbered).

We have no view on when those tickets will be sold out, so we would recommend you to purchase those tickets as early as possible, ideally minimum one month before the event. However, if we are lucky also tickets will be available on a short notice.
