Tanya König is a multilingual reporter and moderator. She worked for CNNMoney Switzerland where she interviewed players of the art world such as art dealers or artists such as Ai Weiwei. Her interview with the gallerist Dominique Lévy was picked up by the international press such as the New York Times and the Financial Times.
Since December 2020 she is a video producer and presenter for the platform finance.swiss, a platform that highlights the latest going-on in the country’s vast financial landscape. In this role she has interviewed players of the financial industry such as Andréa Maechler, Member of the Board of the Swiss National Bank, Sergio Ermotti, or Federal Councilor Ueli Maurer.
Since July 2022 she has been an anchor and reporter at Swiss National TV for the society magazine Gesichter & Geschichten where she has interviewed international stars such as Depeche Mode or Robbie Williams. Besides working for the broadcast, she is booked as moderator on stage for big events including Cannes Lions, where she introduced Chess Grandmaster Gary Kasparov, Nobel Prize receiver Malala, and Hollywood Star Ryan Reynolds or the Sustainable Finance Meeting Building Bridges, where she conducted fireside chats with Philipp Hildebrand or Paul Polman.
She received her BA degree in Sinology with a minor in political science from the University of Zurich, and holds a diploma from Ringier School of Journalism.
